The first offering from Citroen India – The C5 Aircross has been launched today and the prices start from ₹29.90 lakh for the base Feel variant, going up to ₹31.90 lakh for the top Shine dual-tone version. Bookings for the C5 Aircross have already opened for ₹50,000 across 10 dealerships in India.
The C5 Aircross is being locally manufactured in India, at its facility in Tamil Nadu. The car comes with locally produced engines and other components. Do note that all prices are ex-showroom and introductory. Citroen also announced that the C5 Aircross can be bought directly from the factory across 50 cities in India.
Citreon also mentioned about a special lease plan for a ₹49,999 per month monthly fee which shall include five years of routine maintenance, extended warranty, RSA, on-road financing, and an assured future value. At the end of 5 years, buyers can either trade up to another Citroen, take ownership by paying the last EMI or return the car to the dealer.
The model has already received over 1,000 bookings across the 10 ‘phygital’ dealerships and digital platform. Citroen has launched the Citroen Advisor, an online review website where customers can rate their dealership, their car and their sales consultants. This model as per Citroen has been highly successful in other markets, and this ‘pioneering tool in the automotive world’ enables the company to offer transparency and proximity to its customers.
