Ford Ecosport, Hyundai Verna, and Kia Seltos were the highest exported vehicles from India during FY2021.
The Indian automobile industry recorded an overall decline in passenger vehicle exports on a year-on-year (YoY) basis. The overall passenger vehicle exports for FY2021 were 4,04,400 units, a 38.92 percent decline compared to FY2020 when 6,62,118 units were exported. Incessant lockdowns, lack of semiconductors, and high domestic demand would have led to lower exports from the subcontinent.
