Maruti Suzuki Swift emerged as the best-selling car for May 2024. Maruti Suzuki dispatched 19,393 units of the Swift in May. The OEM has a strong demand for the hatchback with close to 40,000 bookings.
Tata Punch retained India's best-selling SUV tag for May 2024 and recorded dispatches of nearly 19k units! It slipped to the second slot but was just short by 444 units behind Swift. Also, note that Dzire has been consistently gaining good volumes - With dispatches of over 16k units, it was the third best-selling car of May 2024. Taxi demand is steadily increasing and Dzire volumes is a testimony of the same. Hyundai's Creta was the best-selling Mid SUV of last month and made it to the Top 5 in May'24 as well.
